In order to address GSTN issues being faced by the Tax Payers, Hon’ble Delhi High Court directed the GST Authorities to convene a meeting in their chamber on 16.11.2019.

The Hon’ble Delhi High Court Bench of Hon’ble Justice Vipin Sanghi & Hon’ble Justice Sanjeev Narula in W.P(C) No. 10284 of 2018, in matter between Sales Tax Bar Association v. Union of India has directed to hold a meeting in their Chamber and under their Supervision, among: CEO of GST Network & a member of the CBIC who is a part of the GST Policy Wing dealing with GST system, Mr. Harpreet Singh Senior Standing Counsel, (from the Respondents Side) and Advocate Puneet Agrawal (Arguing Counsel for the Petitioner) along with Advocate Sanjay Sharma (President of Sales Tax Bar Association); to resolve the GST issues which are being faced by Taxpayers across the country. During the course of Hearing, the bench also suggested to appoint a retired Justice of the Delhi High Court, to supervise the meetings between the members of STBA and Officials representing the Respondents.
